Having grown up on the Monterey Peninsula I have a great affinity for Point Lobos -- it meant a great deal to me as a young teenage photographer, and these days -- although my visits are far and few between -- the place still grips me with it's isolation (excluding Saturdays and Sundays).
Fascinating quote that you used -- with age my mind is growing more feeble, but I'll try to hang on to the concept.
°The fear of death is the most unjustified of all fears, for there's no risk of accident for someone who's dead". Albert Einstein
BTW..... Don, my dear cyberfriend, I want to thank you for writing so wonderfully & nice comments on my Wabi & Sabi bog, they have made me wake up from my blog-coma!!
Looks like a great place to just sit and watch and listen to the birds. But I guess you better be careful when you look up ;^)
