A Little Birth

Each day is a little life: every waking and rising a little birth,
every fresh morning a little youth.
Arthur Schopenhauer 1788-1860

The day begins in Kauai.

“The eye loves repetition, but does not want to be bored.
It likes familiarity, but needs surprises.”
Edith Bergstrom

A couple of deer eating their greens on the Pebble Beach golf course in Monterey. The right half of this photo looks like a mirror image of the left but, of course, it is not. It’s just a bit of nature’s symmetry.

Connection

“The butterfly is a flying flower,
The flower a tethered butterfly.”
Ponce Denis Écouchard Lebrun 1729-1807

Like bees, butterflies help move the pollen around so the flowers do visit their neighbors.

SSTTOOPPP

“Plenty of people miss their share of happiness, not because they never found it, but because they didn't stop to enjoy it.”

I stopped and enjoyed this out of alignment street painting. But now I have a headache.
