This is my daughter Shannon and some guy named John. They’re
getting married next year! They announced it on Thanksgiving
and this is the picture I took a few minutes later. I cropped off
the ring because it was blinding me. Woo hoo!

The crescent shaped pattern in the shadow on the wall of my home was caused by the light from a solar eclipse filtering through the trees.

The woman in this picture is my blushing bride, who I married thirty seven years ago today. She’s my sun and my moon. Happy Anniversary, Dana.

We celebrated my grandson’s third birthday last weekend. After a picnic party in the park he came home where he ran through the sprinkler. He’s laughing because of that snail crawling up his arm. It was a fun day for all.

Jimmy Carter was a relatively unknown politician when he ran for the US presidency in 1976. He needed national fame and he needed it fast so his organization asked me to photograph a couple of his fund raising events. This is one of the shots I took.
And the rest is history.
