Not Deep

"I must be a mermaid, Rango. I have no fear of depths and a great fear of shallow living."
Anaïs Nin 1903-1977

I found this fearful mermaid in Las Vegas where shallow living is an art form.

Going Public

“Gluttony is not a secret vice.”
Orson Welles 1915-1985

Today is the day American families get together and practice one of the seven deadly sins. Sometimes more. Be careful out there! And Happy Thanksgiving.

Only Human

“He who is once bitten by love’s snake, never heals.”
Gustav Vigeland 1869-1943

Gustav Vigeland was a sculptor whose main life work can be seen at the Vigeland Sculptor Park in Oslo, Norway. Although Vigeland refused to explain his work, the theme of the sculptures reflects the journey in life from cradle to grave. Trying to interpret intent is a common game among park-goers.

Evolution Debunked

If evolution really works, how come mothers only have two hands?
Milton Berle 1908-2002

In my world wide search for bare breasted statues, I found this couple in the Lake District in England. It was in a pile of rubbish behind the B&B we stayed in. I can’t recommend the B&B but the Lake District is gorgeous.
