Perception of a Situation

“Anythin' for a quiet life, as the man said when he took the situation at the lighthouse”
Charles Dickens 1812-1870

Is anyone feeling a little tipsy?

  1. I am taking lessons in composition (particularly the use of angles and geometry) from your photography. Superb black and white. Your tones are great. I have a tendency to underexpose at bit for greater contrast. This is just right.

  2. Where is this one from? The angles make me think of the Light House out at Point Reyes and the place where the fence is separated from an Earthquake, but I'm thinking this must be somewhere else...?

  3. This is the Pigeon Point lighthouse in Pescadero, 50 miles south of San Francisco.
