i appreciate the colors and patterns in the photo. it's what i'd call semi-abstract, in which you can tell what the object is but the composition and other elements are a nod to abstract photography.
thank you for the uplifting comment on An Artist in Paradise. i have learned to be grateful for the little things- as you say, sindoor plumbing! living in the caribbean, i've had a very small taste of what it's like to do without running water and electricity, albeit only for short periods of time (our record is 2 weeks without water). it sure makes me humble and appreciative; it's a good reminder there are many who do without life's necessities on a daily basis.
Love detail shots like this! And the pattern & texture on this one!

a belated happy thanksgiving to you!
This is a really lovely image - so textural - and beautiful colors. (I'm amazed by the fabulous quotes you find to go along with your photo's!!)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful image. Love the red corn the best. I forgot that corn comes in so many colors.
