Steps of Color

Rock Climbing

I came across this rock pile and climber on Asilomar Beach near Pacific Grove.

Dog Collection

“Dachshunds are ideal dogs for small children, as they are already stretched and pulled to such a length that the child cannot do much harm one way or the other.”

These Dachshunds are stretched to over seven feet tall. They used to hang out in front of Doggie Diner restaurants but are now gathered on a trailer on Treasure Island happily waiting for an invitation to a parade.

A Real Hazard

Another good reason not to play golf. This ball shaped bunker guards
the first hole of the Links at Spanish Bay.
