Time

“The only reason for time is so that everything doesn't happen at once.”
Albert Einstein 1879-1955

This is twenty five seconds happening at once on the California coast.

This weeks theme for Corner View is "time". There's more time on the blogs below. Thanks to Dorte for the theme and Francesca for hosting.

  11. I like how you've captured the fact that we are witnessing time, as a bystander, sort of.

  12. Interesting picture: it seems that each component comes from a different picture. Kind of crazy, photography, to be able to catch a laps of time on ONE picture. Excellent !

  13. I almost used that quote in my time post.
I really like how some of the parts of the picture seem to blend together, but the blue jacket and green grass stand out a bit, then pop the red! Very creative and enlightening.

  16. 25 secs? I hope to be able to set my camera to do that - I love the waves. Great photo, stillness and motion, the opposites in time.

  21. Today, I saw a woman with a red umbrella waiting for a traffic light to change to cross the street. The red umbrella with the red of the "stop" pedestrian signal was perfect, and then just as perfect was when the signal changed to green and her umbrella made the perfect complement in the overcast sky.
I even had my camera but absolutely couldnt maneuver quick enough to get it out and capture what must have actually been...precisely 25 seconds!!!
So this moment that I missed photographically from today makes me appreciate even more what an amazing photographer you are, and what an amazing sense of timing that means!!!
    Gorgeous :))
