Not Lost

“Happiness is a Swedish sunset; it is there for all, but most of us look the other way and lose it”
Mark Twain 1835-1910

This sunset is not Swedish. It is over the island of Oahu in Hawaii, shot from Molokai.

  2. Your sunset is marvelous! Have never heard that quote, but I have seen and enjoyed many Swedish sunsets as I live in Sweden. But I wonder what Mark Twain meant with his metaphor, do you know?

  5. This is an absolutely beautiful sunset shot Don! I love the way the rays are filtered through the clouds and reach for the heavens, a true gem.
