This would be a much better world if more married couples were
as deeply in love as they are in debt.

Earl Wilson was right, of course! :)
ReplyDeleteThe picture is beautiful!
A wonderful photo, I love silhouettes. But I would be grateful if you tell me what the word dept means. I only find that it is a short word for department and I don't get the quote then.
ReplyDeleteElla- The word is debt not dept. Debt means to owe money.
Deleteoh, I'm sorry, must have been tired when I read it, debt was also a new word to me, but in the future I will know it thanks to my mistake...
DeleteYou find the coolest quotes to accompany your always-lovely photos. Perfect silhouettes against that alluring sky.
ReplyDeletecar payment is a total buzzkill for the gorgeous sunset....maybe they are leasing?
ReplyDeleteDon, you sent me back many years…. I started reading your post and stopped at “A man and a woman (seductive French music in the background)” and did not go any further – did not even look at the photo which would have explained. No, I thought “I know this music – I remember it well, it was the background music of the movie “A man and a woman” by Claude Lelouch (Un homme et une femme) with Anouk Aimée. So I searched on YouTube and I found it – you may know the music, click here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=huUpk-Z6YAc&feature=fvwrel it was famous at the time. Then I went back to your post and saw that you were talking about your photo. Still I enjoyed the memories…
ReplyDeleteYup, I was referring to the both the movie and the photo. The music for that movie should be in the Movie Soundtrack Hall of Fame, if there was such a thing.
