“The most difficult thing for me is a portrait. You have to try
and put your camera between the skin of a person and his shirt.”
Henri Cartier-Bresson 1908-2004
It’s not so hard when it’s my skin and my shirt. The soft shadows
are cast on the side of a water tank.

I did a self portrait project every day for a year. It was leap year so I ended up with 366 photos. It gets tougher the longer you do it. You have come up with an interesting pose in your photo.
ReplyDeleteThis is a great picture, even though I don't know how you did it.
ReplyDeleteDifferent and funny selfportrait :)
ReplyDeleteInteresting shot.. shades of Alfred Hitchcock.
ReplyDeleteLike Hilary I thought of Hitchcock too. Showing our age I guess. Great choice for a background.
ReplyDeleteI like this, very interesting composition.
ReplyDeleteI smiled both when I saw your photo and then the comments as my first thought also was Hitchcock.
