You’re not supposed to cut your picture in half with a vertical line right down the middle but I think it works here.

i must thank you for visiting me so that i could discover your FABULOUS blog...i went through all your posts and loved every combination of pics and quote (especially the P. Casals).
ReplyDeleteI will definitely come back !
Totally works. Rules can be boring. I just realized that the photo I plan to post next has a vertical line down the middle . . . but whatever.
ReplyDeleteToday I want to leave a small footprint behind me. Your stunning images captivate me!
ReplyDeleteIcy greetings from Sweden (minus 12 degrees ..)

hi don! thanks for visiting. your photos are stunning. can´t wait to see more!
ReplyDeleteI always believe in the adage of photography... know the rules then break it. I love this image. The vertical in the middle is such a strong element in this photo. xoxo
ReplyDeletenice lining yes! and the sun! ohwww the sun....
ReplyDeleteThank you dear Sir for taking the time to stop by...Love your work...
ReplyDeleteOh who cares about the "Not Supposed To Rules"?!? ,-)
ReplyDeleteEverything balances out anyway. [Not sure if 'balances out' is the proper photography term... In fact, I'm sure it isn't... ,-) ] But...
If not for the middle up & down tree, with the sun to the right... Would the ammmmmmmmazing effect of the felled tree, be so noticeable?
And wow, the depth which this felled tree gives! Depth perception... Larger close, and diminishing to smaller, in the 'distance.'
Nahhhh, I've not said all of this in correct terms, but please know that I appreciate your photo!!!
