Railroad Digger

“There is no way to success in art but to take off your coat, grind paint, and work like a digger on the railroad, all day and every day.”
Ralph Waldo Emerson 1803-1882

There you have it. It goes on forever.

  6. Hmm - like the add on to the Emerson quote. He's not far off being right though the old boy - it's just a question of how you see things after that! Need taking off your coat, grinding paint and working like a digger be so uninspirational?

  12. Fantastic. It's reminding of the dust bowl era photographs.
