Reflection

I have always preferred the reflection of the life to life itself.
Francois Truffaut 1932-1984

This is a sideways view of a Norwegian hillside reflected in a motionless lake. I added yellow and blue because they are complimentary (opposite) colors in the additive color system. If you stare at the middle of this picture for about 30 seconds and then move your cursor over the image you should see an afterimage of the compliments of these colors. The blue will become yellow and the yellow will become blue. The afterimage will fade after a second or two. It's a reflection in your head.

This picture can also be viewed as a Rorschach test. What do you see?

  10. I have crazy astigmatic eyes, which probably is why the reflection test failed.

Totem pole? No, really, this is a skeleton of a dead dodo, lying on its back, as seen from above...

  20. Well Don, I was going to drop some LSD today but maybe I'll just sit here and play with that image... Very cool lesson, and of course (((maybe))) I'm just kidding abut the LSD...

So, what do I see -- well it took a minute before I saw anything but now I clearly see a dog face at the top -- but it has long arms like a human (((sort of like a totem pole))) and on the bottom is clearly the head of a horse...
