Motion

Two speedboats race along the River Wye which forms part of the border between England and Wales. I like the contrasts in this one- the still river, the speeding boats and the clouds and sky reflected in the water.

    This is awesome! You've captured so much in one photo. The reflections are incredible, but I think I like even more the pattern of the wake of the two boats. I can 'feel' the wind and 'hear' the roar of the engine. This photo is almost surreal--I love it!

    Great photo! It took my brain a little while to realize what I was looking at...first I saw the sky, then my mind was trying to tell me that the reflections of the bushes were the horizon...then it saw the boats and worked it out!

    I like the way you see all the motion here, the boat, sky and even the stillness of the water (also water is in motion too!)

    I love how there's also a stillness though everything is in movement, like the center of a spinning wheel that is in perfect balance.
