Four-Legged

"I would rather see the portrait of a dog that I know, than all the allegorical paintings they can show me in the world."
Samuel Johnson

This is a portrait of Sia, who lives with my son’s family. I like the way,
when the light is right, her black coat shines.

This weeks theme for Corner View is "four-legged". There's more legs in the blogs below. Thanks to Francesca for hosting.

  1. A very cool photo of Sia. I too like how the light glows on her back. Her eyes speak volume too! xo

  7. What a look! This photo is nice because it looks like an old portrait of early twentieth ... I don't know exactly why I think that ... I really like!

  15. We think Sia is a mutt in the finest sense. We got her from a rescue when she was 4-5 months old. We don't know much more about her other than she is a sweetheart with a heathy bark.

We're very lucky my dad took this wonderful picture of her. Looks like it belongs in a royal hunting lodge or something!
